- Who we are?
Compremos un bosque S. A. (Buy Jungle), is a corporation legally constituted and registered at Public Registry of Costa Rica, whose charter is legal 1-674-342.
Our Mission: Encourage dedication of uncultivated land to forest regeneration and to ensure the conservation of existing forests.
Our Objetive: In a first phase, we intend to redeem 3000 HA of land for perpetual conservation of forests, over a period of 5 years.
- Why this is not a "expense"?
Answer: We say that is not an expense because you are getting an asset in return for your investment, an asset that can be reflected in your financial statements, and a real asset ... a tangible asset you can enjoy: An accountinga sset. You get a title which accredits you as the owner of a forest, and amounts to 100 m2. of land.
- Why there is not any maintenance fee?
Answer: When we say there are no maintenance fees, we are saying that your only investment is what you are doing now. We are responsible for maintenance, care and protection of the forest for life. We do it for you.
- What does "using it as a gift" means?
Answer: For Valentine's Day or Birthday, You might surprise your girlfriend or your wife, endorsing this title and giving her certificate (both form a unity), Who does not like to get 100 m2 of forest as a gift?. Very original! No?. Note: when you are ready to do so, please contact us in order to change our owner's records and include some photos to your gift.
- How would I use this investment to promote my products?
Answer: If you are running a company that directly or indirectly contributes to the production of greenhouse gases, deforestation, environmental pollution, etc.. We suggest you to accompany products with one or more titles representing 100 m2 of forest. This would compensate possible harm your commercial or industrial activity is causing a very low cost and logistic complications. It would also gain sympathy of environmentalists. - How to use this investment to market my company´s image?
Answer: If you are a businessman, you know marketing image is extremely important... You might include on your products, a slogan that says:
“We invest in forest conservation”. Without any logistical complications.
- How to use it for educational purposes?
Answer: This benefit is focused on Costa Rica. Parents can buy these titles and donating them to schools to enable them to use forests as a part of social education, environmental, eco-tourism students should receive. This is an added value: Education and tourism.
- May I walk along the forests?
Answer: In the different areas where forests are protected or in recovery, there will be camps with basic services. Partners can use for free as a base of operations for tours of the trails of the forest.
